Alicia Gayle Stumpf, 44, of Muscatine, Iowa, died Sunday, July 26, 2009, in the Lutheran Homes in Muscatine after a long, courageous battle with cancer.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, July 29, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. in the Sharon Hill Cemetery, Kalona, Iowa. Visitation was Wednesday, July 29, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services. A memorial fund has been established at the funeral home. Sympathy notes may be left for the Stumpf family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.
Alicia Gayle Stumpf was born March 4, 1965, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Arlis and Sharon Malichky Stumpf. She had a very unique sense of humor and enjoyed watching sitcoms and Little House on the Prairie. She also enjoyed traveling and visiting with friends. She enjoyed life to the fullest. She lived with with autism and fulfilled her life goal of living independently.
She is survived by her parents, Arlis and Sharon Stumpf, Kalona; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many special friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents and two uncles.
