Brandon M. Escher
March 18, 1987 - November 8, 2009
Brandon M. Escher, 22, of Iowa City, died Sunday, November 8, 2009 at University of Iowa Hospitals from complications of life long heart disease. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at Kalona Mennonite Church with Pastor Scott Swartzendruber and Pastor Mick Murray officiating. Visitation was held Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. at Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona. Burial will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Church cemetery in rural Kalona. Brandon Michael Escher was born March 18, 1987 in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Michael and Beth (Marner) Escher. He was a 2005 graduate of Mid-Prairie High School and was attending Kirkwood Community College. He was currently working at Wal-Mart Super Store in Coralville. He was a member of Kalona Mennonite Church. Brandon had been a Cub Scout and enjoyed hunting, fishing, visiting, and four wheeling. He enjoyed being with family and friends.
He is survived by his father Michael Escher of Kalona; mother, Beth Marner Escher of Kalona; a sister, Chelsea Escher of Cedar Rapids; a brother, Zach Escher of Kalona; and grandparents, Phil and Dorothy Marner of Kalona.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Maxine Escher.
