Jean M. Bidwell

Jean M. Bidwell, 83, died Saturday, August 9, 2008, in Poudre Valley Hospital, Fort Collins, Colorado, following a long illness.
A memorial service was held Saturday, August 16, 2008, in Harbor of Hope, FMC, Fort Collins, with Pastor Paul McGraw officiating. She was born in Iowa, the daughter of Leo and Opal Farrington. Mrs. Bidwell took pride in her family and homemaking skills and was an excellent craftswoman. She was a Girl Scout leader, a 50-year member of Eastern Star, and a member of the White Shrine. She volunteered at Poudre Valley Hospital for 10 years. She will be remembered for her humor and wisdom.
She is survived by her husband, Bill Bidwell, Fort Collins; three children, Jolynn Lauer, Santa Rosa, California; Susan Spight, Hamden, Connecticut; and William Keith Bidwell, Aurora, Colorado; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Donald Farrington.
