Keith E. Yoder, 71, of Iowa City, Iowa, died Sunday, May 10, 2009, in his home following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at 2 p.m. in Peterseim Funeral Home, Kalona, Iowa, with Chaplain David L. Yoder officiating. Condolences may sent to www.peterseimfuneralhome.com. Keith E. Yoder was born June 19, 1957, in Kalona, the son of Willis and Elizabeth Ann (Bender) Yoder. He operated Kalona Standard Oil and was owner of Kalona Tire Company for a number of years. He enjoyed fishing and camping. He as united in marriage to Judith Guengerich in Wellman, Iowa, June 5, 1959.
Mr. Yoder is survived by his wife, Judith Yoder, Iowa City; a daughter, Cynthia and husband David Jacobson, Cedar Rapids, Iowa; a brother, Robert Yoder, Wellman; and a foster sister, Katie (Chester) Miller, Central City, Iowa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Debra Yoder; two brothers, Donald W. Yoder and Marion “Tex” Yoder; and a foster sister, Esther Coblentz.
