It’s always nice to get the first win out of the way. We played a very solid first half, but had some lapses that allowed West Liberty to get back in the game. We shared the ball well and got the ball inside where we felt we had an advantage.
In every first game, we did some things well, but there are a lot of things we need to work on before our schedule hits full stride next week. This group has a great attitude, and I know they will be eager to improve and work toward eliminating as many mistakes as possible before we head to Washington next Tuesday.
