	June 6, 2009 M-P boys’ golf eighth at state The Mid-Prairie boys’ golf team placed eighth at the state tournament in Panora Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30. The team had a score of 706. Robby Mostek, a sophomore, led the Golden Hawks with 167 strokes. Derek Nicholson, a junior, carded a 175, Aaron Smit, also a junior, scored 176. Seniors Ryan Gent, Ryan Wertz, and Bryan Horesowsky scored 188, 191, and 208, respectively.
