IMS stunned by Lisbon
The Iowa Mennonite School baseball team was denied a third consecutive trip to the state tournament when Lisbon defeated IMS at Lisbon 8-6, in first round district action.

Solon stops Mid-Prairie
The Mid-Prairie baseball team out hit Solon, but Solon’s hits came at more opportune times, and the Spartans beat the Golden Hawks 7-2 at Solon Saturday, July 18.

Mid-Prairie beats West Liberty to advance
The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks baseball team defeated West Liberty 5-1 at Wellman Tuesday, July 14, in first round district action. The win advanced Mid-Prairie to the District 9 final game against Solon at Solon Saturday, July 18.

Mid-Prairie loses to Wilton
The Mid-Prairie softball team lost to Wilton at Mt. Pleasant Wednesday, July 15, 0-4, one win short of a return trip to the state softball tournament. Olivia Lugar took the loss for Mid-Prairie.
