IMS Boys vs Falcons

IMS took to the road Friday, January 15, and returned home victorious, following an 82-43 win over Louisa-Muscatine of Letts.  IMS jumped out to a 22-6 lead in the first six minutes before the Falcons caught fire and outscored IMS 11-4 over the next two minutes to close the quarter down 26-17. 
Following a 43-25 IMS half-time advantage, the visitors outscored the Falcons 27-12 in the third period to lead 70-37 going into fourth quarter.  All but one of IMS’ 13 players got into the scoring column, led by Chance Miller with 20 points, including four threes.  Jacob Yoder tallied 11 points, including a pair of treys, and Ethan Gingerich added three from behind the arc for nine points.  For the evening, IMS was 11-20 from three-point range.     
Miller also dished out six assists and Jackson Brokaw passed for four assists to go with eight points and four steals. David Yoder scored eight points and had four steals, and Truman Shetler tallied seven points, three assists and three steals. Brian Hagedorn scored six points and pulled down five rebounds, and Brant Kapple had four points and six rebounds.  
IMS goes to 10-0 on the season, 9-0 in the conference.
