Phyllis J. Bloom

Phyllis J. Bloom, 75, of Wellman, Iowa, died Saturday, December 19, 2009 at  Parkview Manor in Wellman following a lingering illness. Graveside services were held Tuesday, December 22 at Wassonville Cemetery, Wellman. Condolences may be sent to www.peterseimfuneralhome.com.
Phyllis Joan Miller was born December 25, 1933, in Johnson County, near Wellman, the daughter of Harold and Oliva Perrin Miller. She was married to Rex Bloom.
Mrs. Bloom was a press operator for Release International. She and her husband also owned and operated an antique shop in Wellman for a number of years.
She is survived by three sisters, Iva and husband Elray Holyman, Wellman; Mary and husband Gary Roberts, Beverly Hills, Florida; Julie and husband Donnie Baker, Washington, Iowa; two brothers, Robert W. Miller, Freeport, Illinois; Edward J. Miller, Wellman; and three step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rex in 1983; a daughter, Barbara Bloom in 1983; a step daughter, Annette Bisanz; and a brother, Kenneth D. Miller.
