Central Lee over Highland girls

The Highland Huskies girls’ basketball team lost 50-55 to Central Lee at Central Lee Saturday, February 7.
Chelsea Miller led the scoring for Highland with 13 points and had six rebounds. Anna Sweeting scored 11 points and had two blocks. Breanna Hall was the leading rebounder for the Huskies with seven.
Highland head coach Jody Fink said, “We didnt execute. We discuss what needs to be done, and it goes in one ear and out the other. We got into foul trouble, they hit the boards hard and we were like we stood in cement.
“It is the end to a long stretch (seven games in nine days) and our legs are tired. We need some rest. We need to focus on the tournament run now starting Thursday.
