Highland boys over Mepo

The Highland boys’ basketball team defeated Mediapolis at Mediapolis Saturday, January 31, 48 – 39. The Huskies started out slowly, scoring in the single digits in each of the first two quarters, but scored 13 in the third quarter and 18 in the fourth quarter for the win. Aaron Swailes scored 18 points to lead the Huskies’ offense, including hitting seven of nine from the charity stripe. Zach Mellinger led in rebounds with seven. Zach Rozmus hit 100 percent from the floor, scoring eight points.
