Highland boys’ track at Mid-Prairie meet

The Highland boys’ track team participated in the Mid-Prairie track and field meet at Wellman April 21.
Two events placed for the Highland boys. Jacob Seaton placed fourth in the shot put with a throw of 44′, 10.5″.
The team of William Greiner (12.75), Cody Boyd (:12.32), Matt Yeggy (:11.69), and Tom Rohret (:11.25) placed sixth in the 4 x 100 with a time of :48.01.
In the high jump, Yeggy had a jump of 5′ 4″. Troy Gant had a throw of 31′ 4″ in the shot put.
In the discus, Seaton had a throw of 104′ 9″, and Gant had a throw of 75′ 5″.
In the 100 meter dash, Greiner finished in :13.07 and Rohret in :12.79.
Elijah Halstead finished the 400 meter dash in 1:20.45. Aaron Swailes finished with a time of :57.59.
In the 4 x 200, Boyd, Ryan Schneider, Yeggy, and Dakota Flory finished in 1:45.60.
In the 200 meter dash, Rohret finished in :25.24, and Schneider finished the race in :27.81.
In the 1600 medley race, Greiner (:26.80), Boyd (:25.77), Yeggy (:59.99), and Flory (2:28.97), had a time of 4:21.53.
Swailes finished the 800 meter run in 2:15.90.
In the 4 x 400 relay, the team of Rohret (:59.99), Swailes (:59.99, Schneider (1:03.93), and Flory (1:01.42).
